Sure. But that's existing industry practice, not MeeGo architecture. Right now there's no use of FAT, so adding a mass storage gadget wouldn't be useful in the way that it is on other devices. And the use of FAT on the device opens up other questions, like how to synchronize writes to the shared block device, or the fact that external writes to the device will collide with the security model. My question wasn't how this works, but what the plan was for an "official" gadget profile in MeeGo.
