Good catch, Randall. Consider me +1 for consistency. Whatever we
decide, titles and links within the item should probably do the same
thing.

We do, however, open the link in a new window when someone clicks

This seems asymmetrical. But I understand (and agree with) your
argument.

I'm not generally a fan of sites targeting a new window by default.
If I'm playing with filters to fine-tune my jug (or just tinker with
various results), and I click through to a linked site, I don't lose
the adjustments to those filters when I click the back button - at
least, based on my test just now on dev.melkjug.com my filter change
appears to have been preserved.
Unless there are cases where users might lose data by navigating
away, I'd lean towards not opening new windows.
I suppose we could consider that being an account-level preference -
some folks may have very strong feelings on both sides of the "new
window" approach.

How do we feel about rewriting links to have them target a new
window/tab? I keep accidentally clicking links in my articles and
moving away from Melkjug.
