Pete,
Maybe "better" is not the correct word - more like imho the Wolf is a bit more
user friendly for an sob to work out, although they tell me there is a new
Autronics unit about to come out that's supposed to be idiot proof. From what
i've found with messing around with them a bit and might i add usually on cars
that are not running real well, the Wolf unit seems to give pretty good results
for the street. What i have noticed with these things is that certain brands
seem to suit a certain engine and sometimes not even manufacturer specific. I
have only tried to get an FJt to at least run reasonably with an autronics unit
a while back and it just was so difficult especially as i was about the 10th
person to have a go at it; yet we plugged in a Wolf 3D into a Cressida Wagon
with a 7MGTE (what a sleeper 300+hp) and it ran near perfectly on the
recommended default program for the engine.
