Daniel,

on the Adelaide 1600 Club website there is a conversion using verada rotors
and vl turbo commodore calipers. The magna rotors ( DBA#221 from memory )
and standard pre-vl 6cyl commodore calipers will swap in the same way.
These calipers *just* fit inside a set of 13x6 5-slots and *just* foul a
set of 13x6 steel wheels I had, so you might be in luck.
There are a couple of points left out - you need the late 180B struts with
the large axle and bearings, and it's probably better to machine the hubs
than use shims.
This gives you vented rotors ( though most list banter suggests solids are
fine for all but circuit racing ) but only single-piston calipers.

DF

PS - just occured to me - 280zx brakes are the same sort of thing, maybe zx
struts are the go. I've heard they fit some 13" wheels and there's no
machine work to be done.
