Dan,
If you put a small pin hole bleed device in the vacuum line to the dissy or
close down the vacuum line fitting the advance hose comes off the dissy's
work well. By restricting the line any pulsing is removed (at the expense
of very rapid responding advance curve) but most people wouldn't pick it &
you will get better economy during cruising!
Cheers
Feral Errol

I'm considering the conversion for my datto, however I still have a few
questions. With the current set-up I'm not using the vac-advance set-up as
pulsing occurs due the engine using twin webbers for induction. Do I need
to use the vac-advance of the 910 series electronic dizzy or can I do
without? (I would rather do without) If I can do without, should the
DISTRIBUTOR BE REGRAPHED or is the current mechanical advance fine? If I
need to get it regraphed is there any good places in Brisbane that carry
out such a job and can be entrusted with this sort of work(Brad?)? Approx
how many $$$$?
Specific specifications for the mechanical advance required would be much
appreciated as well(If regraphing is required)
