I use the standard bluebird pump just in front of the tank. Maybe grab one
from the wreckers, or as Steve said, you need a low pressure - high volume
pre-pump, but the one I use is sufficient for my needs. But you definately
need an extra pump from the surge tank which is capable of +40psi on an SR20
coz this is where the pressure regulator on the end of the fuel rail is set
at and if you have less than 40psi then you won't even push the air out of
the fuel rail let alone get enough fuel in there to start the engine or make
it run properly. I learnt this from experience...
