RE: Offset strut tops

Daniel,   I don't think either the racer or the suspension person are correct, any 200B with factory offset tops out there were probably retro-fitted with 180B items as there isn't a listing for them specifically for the 810. The only factory Datsuns that were fitted with offset strut tops were the late model 610 (180B) and the 710 which wasn't sold in Australia by dealers. The offset tops fit the 200B strut, no problem with that and many ppl on this list have done that modification very successfully.   The offset tops are easily identifiable as one of the 3 retaining bolts on top of the tower is longer than the rest. The top of the longer bolt doesn't have thread, it's like a locator or blind thread. Also there are at least 2 different offsets available (5mm & 10mm) which gives around 1 & 2 degrees of -ve camber from static zero camber and it's not uncommon to have different tops fitted to either side on the 180B.
