Yeah tell the racer and the susp guy to go stick it up their date. They are 180B offset strut tops and are identifiable as Terry told you! Someone even told me you can tell by the numbers/letters on top of the bolts but I think it is much easier to rip the black cover off and look at the strut top - it is blindingly obvious if it is an offset or not! I have fitted them and they made a good difference. I can't tell you how much because I changed my shocks at the same time and that made a big difference too! :) But a tip, make sure you get them from a non-Datsun wrecker because they will have no idea what they are!
