Zac,
If you got the pad so the outer radius is at the outer extremity of the
disc that would be acceptable I would think. Try a 300mm Mercedes rotor
(cant remember which model), as they use a good cast iron alloy similar to
brembo.
An alternative is to mount the calipers on the opposite side to the
original lugs on reversed struts. Make a mounting bracket that bolts onto
the holes where the dust plate used to mount. You will have to drill and
tap some extra holes as well to make it strong enough and use countersunk
head high tensile bolts. This is the same method that was used to mount
Commodore calipers on Datto struts back in the dark ages

Thanks Errol, I'm having a hard time configuring 300zx calipers onto 200b
strut. Problem is 100mm caliper spacing vs 90mm strut lug spacing. One
option was 300mm disc - the caliper would be far enough out to not foul the
strut lugs like it would with 280mm disc.
Any ideas?
