Breather not required.
There should be one of those on your fuel tank
already.
There should also be an overflow from the surge
tank back to the fuel tank too.
I guess 700ml would be sufficient if your low
pressure pump can supply sufficient fuel.

Subject: Surge Tank volume and
fittings
List,
I have the oppurtunity and means to make my own
surge tank for my z18et conversion. Would a volume of ~700ml be
enough? Also what fitting need to be incorporated into the
tank.
-inlet from supply pump
-outlet for high pressure pump
-inlet for high pressure return line
- BREATHER????????????????????
Can anyone verify my guess?
Cheers
