Eddie,

Visit http://www.tighecams.com.au/cars/nissan/cs-l1820-tbl.htm for Nissan L
grinds
Depends on how mad you wanna go really. Wade are another big name in L cams
but I don't think they have a website.

With regard to fuel economy, on my L18 with a big port (39.5mm) W53 head,
3000rpm+ 525B cam and twin 38mm SU's I got around 20-22mpg (but thats
chucking the boot in quite often :)

I just put a series 2 bluebird dizzy on my Z20E and it revs VERY smoothly
right out to 6500rpm without missing a beat so lose the points IMHO

Anyway just my experiences :)

- Tom

Subject: setting up an L18

Hi All,
I've almost finished my 180B SSS, and I'm about to start on the engine
(stock L18), I would like some concensus on what I should do with it.

The car will be a regular road car, although I'm going to attempt some
circuit racing using this car.

what would be a good compromise setup for this, the engine was rebuilt a few
months before I bought the car.

I don't have the factory twins anymore (original owner took them for another
project).

I'm looking at better than average performance, but would prefer it leaning
more towards economy than performance, although I don't want it too
economical : ) , any thoughts on carb/s cam distributor exhaust etc. any
advice appreciated

thanks and regards Eddie
