running the 1/4 down the correct way, there is a massive purpose built
runoff track, ample for top fuellers with un deployed 'chutes and jet funny
cars to pull up.
running the way they did, you've got the lights and a hard left hander.
A few guys on the LS1 Forum, more familiar with the layout of E/C have
summised they set it up this way for the spectators, with the vehicles
reaching their top speed in front of the grand stands, great for ticket
sales, but not so good for a car with bulk HP like Todd's.
He was definatly a mover and shaker in the sport and will be missed.
