G?Day List,

For those of you who asked about the driveline specs?
L20b block (200b), bored from 85 to 89mm (re-sleeved), LZ24 crank
(balanced), Machined and linished L20b rods (polished and balanced,
fittment of small-end bearings), Machined down full floating FIAT pistons,
2mm copper head gasket, Extensively ported and polished head, Larger
Valves, Re-ground cam, Electronic Ignition, Extractors, 2.5 inch system,
Lightened and balanced flywheel, ceramic spring centre puck clutch and
stronger pressure plate, Skyline 5 speed?

So far I am running the engine in with a bluebird carby, but I have a
custom EFI manifold and Haltech F9A computer to fit as soon as the engine
as done 1-2000k?s. I don?t want the dyno shop redlining the new engine
before it?s run in. Even only revving it to 4500rpm I am surprised at the
torque and power, and can?t wait to open it up with the EFI. I am (or used
to be?) a member of the Adelaide Datsun 1600 Club, however the car has
only just got back on the road (after a year or two) now that it?s almost
completed a bare-metal restoration. It?s bright green now, similar to the
bright green wagon down south, or like the ?ambulance bonnet? green. (You
may have seen my car near O?Halloran Hill / Hallet Cove).

Regards,
David Thompson.
