Nick,
The ppl in the US that are using Zed carbies do much the same as you, i.e.
modify the spacer and use only 2 of the 4 bolts etc. The Bluebirds List has
a few ppl that are using these carbies and I have noticed them talking about
them from time to time but I don't recall who exactly. If you subscribe to
the list and ask a few questions about them I'm sure you'll get some info.

I am running 1-3/4 inch SU's, and am aware of the mismatch with the 1.5 inch
SSS manifold. I am using a dodgy homemade Phenolic spacer/adapter, which
seems to work OK.
I'd be interested to find out about others with this type of setup, do you
have any US links etc...
