yeah i dont mind power coming on about 3500-4000, but obviously its going to by main daily driver for now, so stupid lag is something id want to try and avoid. A friend is trying to convince to me try a 60-1 with a smaller exhaust housing, but again it'd prolly be worth more than the whole engine. I'll have a word to a few ppl and see whats going second hand. cheers mate regards chris >From: andrew smith <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >Subject: Re: VG30 internals into VG20?(andrew smith) >Date: Sat, 09 Jun 2001 15:12:23 +0800 > >Chris, >If the turbo has been hiflowed wait and see how it goes.If you still want >more >hp and you will if you want to run 12.5 and dont want to much lag then >you'll >have to fork out the big dollars and get one of the latest hightech ball >bearing >turbos that use small inertia, and more aerodynamic type wheels. These will >spool >up faster and still flow the air you need.If you cant afford $3000 then you >have >to settle for some lag and late spoolup.A T3/4 hybrid can be built for >under >$1200.My last one cost me under $400 to do but this depends on what second >hand >parts can be sourced at the time.I just picked up a T04s comp cover with >backing >and wheel for $300 which will flow over 500hp.This should test the limit of >the >L series. >Andrew Smith > >FJ MAN wrote: > > > Yeah that wouldnt surprise me at all (that car personifies bang for >buck). > > You could be right (is jelisee and auto anyway?).
