sorry, i didn't build the engine.........but if it helps, i have z22
pistons............i can only assume they are L20B rods.
have you had much to do with strokers ???
my engine has had a lot of work.....11:1 comp. dual 45s, large valves
& ports, free flowing exhaust, 76 works cam....... it's got everything
that should make it rev...... however 6500 is it.......no
more. mind you the torque from about 2300 is strong and they are easy to
drive around town.
the 2.1 L/Z (Z22 crank in L or
Z block & L head) is the preffered engine to make high RPM
horsepower. i think the rod/stroke ratio is around 1.75:1.........
