I'd go with the Z car, if the panels are in good shape, the mechanicals will be easy to find, and it looks a lot better than a Skyline (IMO) plus it is different from the hundreds of GTS-Ts on the road now.I've seen a few R-32 GTR's sell for under 20,000 recently. The lower spec Sylines  are definitely pretty cheap in NZ now, and pretty good preformance value but also very common and get lots of attention from the po-lice. Have to say that NZ has turned into a import-car haven  and lots of excellent Japanese cars are cheaper than rebuilding an older model, but it's still tremendous fun burning a car full of people who spend half their income on repayments and insurance :)
