Yeah i did it on my bike about a year ago.. not a bad little circuit - maybe
2kms long ? Only prob with it is that it's kind of small and fairly tight -
though i could still hit about 180kph down the straight, before backing it
off a bit for a right-handed kink.. then you've got an almost carousel-like
right-hander to deal with, with a nice, longish left going uphill which was
fun and before you know it you've gotta flick right at the top of it on a
fairly blind kink. Then it leads down into a fairly tight 60kph right
hairpin and a few more 90-degree turns (i think), before getting back onto
the main straight. The surface itself was fairly good - didn't notice too
many offense bumps on the lines i was taking, but of course things can
change over time..

I definately enjoyed it a whole lot - only drama was that I reckon it was
more fun when i borrowed my mate's 250 because it's pretty tight down the
back..

When our day finished, some locals turned up to do a few laps with a modded
cortina, and they seemed to be enjoying themselves.. but i'll tell you - its
laptimes were pretty horrible compared to even the slower guys in our
group.. too much tyre screeching!

Anyway, hope you guys have a blast! Might try and turn up to have a geez if
I can..

Subject: Morgan Park Sprints

These are some of the guys entered for the sprints next weekend. Anyone from
the list or know them?
Craig Allen 1200, Geoff Davis 1200, Andrew Hinze 1600. Chris McIllwain 1600,
Harry Doling 1200. John Sorraghan 1600.
John Copeland will be there with his (classic adelaide) 1600. Is he as good
a peddler as Siddo? If so I'm already in heaps of trouble!!!
Heaps of 240z's led by the man himself.
Should be good to see. Especially when it gets dark on Sat night (now how
can i focus my high beams more to the left....mmmm
Anyone her ever done any laps at morgan park?
Cheers
Mick
