The std 1600 came with 4 lights, the inner two were 55W high beams, the outer two were 50/55W combination of Low and High beam. I think that totals to 220W High Beam and 100W Low Beam.
In QLD is it legal to run with only 2 headlights, namely the outside ones?
I suppose it should be alright if you have the same wattage or higher. I ask this as when I was getting my Roadworthy Cert. I replaced the inner two lights with another set of the outer lights giving me 4 low beams and 4 high beams. The guy said I had the wrong number of low beams and I had to disconnect them to get the roadworthy. I was thinking about removing the inner lights to fit my intercooler pipes.
