Title: RE: Headlights.
Adam,

1200/Stanza (early) run 7" seal beams, stock wattage were as good as candles and I can't remember the exact wattage but Holden/Falcon/Valiant run a much higher wattage sealed beam which we all changed over to before splashing out on H4's. All brands of 4.75" H4 have the approved lenses for outers and H1 for inners and that's what most of us run in our 1600's. If you want an intake through the inners then you'll need to run spots as I said earlier, I cant think of any other legal way to do it.

ADR is Australian Design Rules, huge volumes of technical babble and not on line afaik, some key rules were on the net on the Dotr site but the link is dead and I haven't sussed out where it gone to. You should be able to access them in a principal library.

regards
Terry (still on hols)

I didn't realise the high beams work as a pair.  What do the 1200's run?  Would I be able to replace my 4xsealed lights for 2x H4 style with the appropriate lens.  What are the ADR's you are referring to?  You don't know a site that has them?

Thanks for the info.  Don't you do much work at work?  You seem to be doing lots of typing today.
