By "drag" I meant a slight amount of pressure in the front brakes when the
pedal is off. I see the condition quite often when ppl have been fiddling
with the rods in the master cylinder or booster in an attempt to correct a
long pedal. It's easy to check, apply pressure to the pedal a few times then
release and make sure the pads are just touching the disc and not binding.
To do it properly the brakes should be re-checked when hot. I always check
the brakes for binding/dragging before I start work on them as there are a
number of causes for this condition. eg shot pin slides would be the most
common.
