Hi Ben

I was told that too. I used to run a 72 degree and now run a 76 degree cam
in my L20b 2.2. litre. The increase in power and drivability from this
upgrade was well worth the effort! I have no worries about driving it on
the street. I can putt around the estate I live in at 40kph at 2000rpm in
3rd gear and it will accelrate smoothly without hesitation when I want it
to. It idles at 750rpm and power band starts at about 3000rpm and revs out
to 6500rpm. Get your cam timing right and your carbies jetted, choked and
venturied to suit and you will not have a problem. The guy that set the
carbies up says you should be able to get them smooth enough for your nanna
to drive it. Well close, I let my mum drive it to work.

Scott
