Leighton, The KA was sold here in small numbers in Navaras and the engines are worth big bucks. Ask a Nissan wrecker. I know a new one is sitting in Baywater for $4500. Second hand they bring a lot more than any SR or FJ N/A engine. If you can get one at the right price then your only problem would be the cost of any gaskets and ancilliary parts that need replacement. Check the prices through your Nissan dealers and the availability. Don't get me wrong I think it would be a very interesting conversion and would make good grunt. I just think that an LZ combination would be better bang for my buck. why is that parts cost too much - why wopuld they be different to any other jap engine??? the KA's are produced in australian Nisan navara utes - and if i stick forgies in like i would if i wanted hot up any jap engine why would cost more then the sr or fj - the only thing is that it would have more torque - it is already injected and all i gotta do is find a turbo for it you guys keep telling me stuff that doesnt make sense - there no harder to get parts for then the SR - and i can p0rolly get 9one cheaper any way - im not hel bent on doing this conversion i just dont understand what would be so hard to do If someone can talk to me about i cant see a reason why its possible i mean its not hard to mount them - in fact its easy I dunnno - its starting to seem that just because its not done over here - it seems no on e will entertain it just Thoughts Leighton ----- Original Message ----- From: "E Smith" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, March 07, 2002 9:00 PM Subject: RE: Capacity issue > I agree whole heartedly Tom.
