Thats a cool idea Malcolm. There are quite a few LD20's in NZ and not too hard to find, unlike Z24 cranks :) I talked to someone long ago who used the LD bottom end and they said it worked out well. What kind of distributor do you use Mark? Series 2 Bluey?Injectors? Around 360cc each (maybe FJ/SR?) I'm thinking of some kind of crank-triggered ignition if the cost isn't too exxy. A nice power/ torque curve is the plan, something thats not peaky to drive at all and  a strong bottom end etc.. for less than an SR, shooting for about 600hp, well maybe 250 :) I guess

Head, mainfolds etc.. 0, Forged Pistons,Rings $1000
Turbo and maniflod $1200
Clutch $250
Ign ?
ECU etc.. $1500 hmmm I think it could be an idea.
