Good luck with it, the cigar lighter wire is a female bullet that's not insulated so if it's not connected and just floating around in there without being taped up this could be the problem.

If there are no wires connected at all to the back of the dash I assume it will be easy to find where they should mount, ie find a double bullet connection, I guess this will be either male and female or both male or both female.
