Chris, The L20B does present a minor problem or 2 when installed in a 1600 with the stock carbie as it can hit the bonnet and you also have to modify the throttle linkage. You can go for sidedraft carbie(s) to get around the problem if it hits your bonnet.
On sumps and oil pickups. A L20B sump (either 810 or 910) will not fit a 1600 (510) without modifying the xmember so you are better off using a 510 sump and oil pickup. Exhaust system can also fowl the body and/or gearbox xmember so be prepared to modify that area. Other than those small issues a L20B is relatively simple to install in a 1600.
