Mark, Most people either fit an RB20DET (160kw), RB25DET (187kw) or combine the top end of a RB25DET with the 3 litre bottom end (lots and lots of kw). All pretty good value but don't bother modifying the 114kw RB30E (with cam, chip, extractors etc) cos the car will still be slower than an AU Falcon taxi and it'll cost a bomb. There's lots of info in Zoom magazine and Autospeed has an article about the twincam conversion. VL Turbo's are very popular at the moment so there should be tons of sites around, search with www.google.com - I find it's the best search engine.
