If the broken fitting is alloy (like the factory one) it is easy to get it out....
Use a little old screw driver or a real small cold chisel in one spot only hammer it from the outside in,usally they fall to bits or knock the outside in and then you can unscrew it with long nose pliers.. Knock it in the the centre not the end of the would be hole It shouldn't take more than 5 mins to do it yourself... When your lawn mower muffler falls off and their is no threads to screw the new one in,,,Thats because the old threaded part is still in the block.......
