As far as I'm aware, the D-A-T-S-U-N badge was between the tail lights on sedan models
upto late 1970.

I have the feeling only the full imports got the rear DATSUN badge.
My wagon and SSS 4 door had them when I bought them.
The two other wagons I had bought in the past also had the bright shiny paint where
the DATSUN badge used to be.
