I
think you're correct - I wondered about that after I posted. It did have a
327/T400 when the conversion was originally done, but when the 350 went in
it came with a T700 - the engine was built in the states, Black something or
other rings a bell but my memory of other ppls cars isn't what it used to be.
The car is awesome, no doubt about it and it wasn't as expensive to throw
together as a well engineered 1600 Turbo (SR or FJ).
Speaking of awesome machinery, my neighbour told me last night that he's
selling his R32 GTiR as he's making additions to the family (I presume he means
baby booming) - I wish I had a spare $35K lying around doing nothing, alas
not this time, plus my 1600 would develop a complex if I started playing with a
Godzilla especially a fully optioned one with improvements to performance
etc.

i though that a T400 was still a 3 speed and a T700 has the overdrive ??
