Hey Dave I had a similar problem with my Bluebird just a few weeks back and
it was the ballast resistor . Although I had cleaned each end ( electrical
connectors ) it would still miss fire after it had warmed up .
Turned out that the coil wire that runs under the ballast resistor had a
break in it , when it was cold it would touch but as it warmed up / went
over bumps etc it would break down . Anyway to check this to see if it is
faulty just by pass the ballast resistor and plug the wires together .
