I think it is a straight bolt in, but not 100% certain as its different internally to a stock 180B 4 speed. Check the length before purchasing. I think the longer box came with the intro of the 5 speed in the 180BSSS about mid 1974 in Aus.
Dont get the early 180BSSS 4 speed confused with the early 4 speed 240K boxes of the same era. These are longer but have the characteristic thicker ribbed, stronger, bell housing.
