I think the SSS box has different synco cones or something like that,porches type gear box? The P910 long dog leg 5 speed has the same 1,2,3,4 gear ratio as a 510SSS gear bag but the 5th cog is a .86 overdrive. Some of the short 610/710SSS gear bags are a true 5 speed with 1:1 5th cog (I dont like these box's ,totall waste of time for what/How I like to drive. Still need anther cog on the open road.
