Me thinks the output shaft is a tad longer in the 610SSS 4 spd boxes but you can swap the shaft and extn housing off a 510 flat pan box onto everything and just bolt in a bullet proof box straight in although it still has a monkey motion shifter. Other option is just move the rear mount and cut the shaft aka long box but I never liked cutting shafts etc and built a heap of these boxes in the 70's to support my rally days.
