yes, thats right. I know he has always walked with a limp from that
injury. Probably should have just left well enough alone.

He had surgery to try and repair an injury to his spine that he received while making "Across the Wide Missouri". He
had the surgery in the mid '90s, and has been in a wheelchair ever since.
