the benefits of high velocity rounds outweight the cons--or at least
our military (which is #1) seems to think so. If slow heavy rounds are
the future, we would still be using muskets or that type of heavy
round. It is true that slow and heavy does rip jagged holes in flesh
but they are also a bitch to aim and forget about anything close to
automatic. A high velocity round will fly further and straighter and
penetrate more armor that a slow one. I think it is absurd to say that
a 9mm shot at a criminal who is on drugs will just piss them off...a
9mm bullet can and does kill...
