Actually, "the list" started as Mercedes-Veterans list and was started by
Alex Gabard of Switzerland. Richard agreed to administer the list for
Alex, then commandeered it. Richard started mbz.org, and owns that domain
name. That has been the source of all the problems. I realize it takes
some time to administer a list, but not an inordinate amount. Besides,
Richard only administered the list for a short time. He splintered it into
various lists and then got an UNPAID volunteer to administer each list.
Kaleb has graciously agreed to provide us a means to continue the
list. Rusty has graciously provided funding to keep the MBZ.org list
alive for several years (at exorbitant (extortion) rates) and continues to
support this list financially.
Personally, I think it is unfair to say anything unkind about Rusty or
Kaleb on this list, given the time and money they donate for the rest of us.
