Porsche never intended to power the Cayenne with a diesel. And the Touareg V-10 turbodiesel is sold everywhere but here where it ran afoul of the EPA and it was pulled. A friend had signed the deal to swap his ML for one when all orders were cancelled by VW. It may come back when the low sulfur diesel shows up here. Anyhow, The Cayenne's next big powerplant will be some kind of hybrid developed with VW. Of course, three weeks ago the story was they were talking with Toyota about their hybrids. Pick a rumor. RLE
