the 200 was another sad tale of woe for GM. originally designed for use with small displacement engines, some genius decided that they were adequately over engineered to be used on V8s. the tranny lasted about 20k miles, but this was in the days of 12k new car warranties

Something different with the bellhousings and where the engine bolts up was different.
