Look Kaleb if it is a 722.4 tranny it is going to fit........I think :-)
I took a 722.401 out of my 84 230E and put it in my Mum's 86 190E which 
came with a 722.400 and it has a smaller TC than the 401.
Although I am trying to line up the shift points because the pressure 
control cable was somehow stuck and whilst unsticking it I managed to 
break some of the 20+ year old plastic.
