Lord, I wish my TE would do that! Best I've ever gotten was 23 without AC -- the trip this summer with the AC going full blast netted me a grand 21 mpg.
I'd figure 3-4 mpg better with a sedan, given the lower gearing on the TE, but no more. Mid 20s is about normal. I'm only getting 28.5 on the diesel with the AC on now!
