Yup, although the W123 ones last longer that W124 fronts.
Inspect carefully with good light -- ANY cracks or deformation around
the bolts holes or ANY signs that the metal parts have moved on the
rubber condems the disk.

pictures someplace of the trans area in a car where the driveshaft

looked like a bomb went off. Broke the trans and tore holes in the
floor.
At the very least, you will be stranded someplace.
