Hi guys, I have a '92 300E 4matic lined up to look at this weekend. I've heard to watch out for problems with the transfer case. Any signs to watch for to indicate a bad case? It's a dealer car, and it has some records, so the guy is trying to dig up what history he can. Car has about 230,000 kms, with all emissions and safety done. He's asking $3900 for it.
When did the 104 engine start, was it '93 ? Any thoughts or advise appreciated.
