I'm running Vista now too, but I think for my next pc, I'm going back to Mac, probably a laptop of some sort. Not sure if I'll buy and run a copy of xp on it, as I think pretty much everything I do I can find mac applications for. We'll see, this current pc is probably ok for another couple of years.
What I would like to do, is get an external HD and start backing up everything from several old computers on it. My other pc, was an old one with a first generation usb port, so I'd like to find one that reads all the way back to 1.0. Anyone suggest a brand? Needs to read mp3 files, photos, vids, etc from both older pc and mac op systems.
