OK, that problem solved - what I was thinking, maybe I could by a set of headlights from a wrecker in UK for instance and have them shipped here? After seeing prices around the US a set runs around $300 or more. They must have plenty of these in UK - as long as shipping is acceptable maybe I can get a set and save some $$s.

Anyone try something like that? I imported MG parts from UK in the mid 80s (pound vs dollar was favorable) and resold them. Haven;t done anything like that except for a couple hundred Porsche posters I bought from Germany.

I wouldn't worry about it since a lot of newer cars have a similar beam pattern. For example, my CDI has a euro beam pattern.
