Hi Andrew,
You go out and plough the fields with it or go extreme off roading(with 25
hp.....woppee).
The reason the gearshifter is long is to give you something to hold onto
when she tips over after attempting to go up a vertical incline. Then again
the difference between men and boys is the length of the gear stick.
Or perhaps it is removable, in which case it would come in handy in case the
peta greenies are still breathing after being run over(I'll apologize for
that remark in advance).
BTW in case any of you where wondering the reason we "mutilate" our sheep
over here is to stop them becoming flyblown. What is flyblown you city folks
are wondering? Flyblown is when flies lay their eggs(which turn into
maggots) around the sheep's behind, which leads to a rather slow painful
death for the sheep involved(if not treated in time). Think thousands of
maggots eating you alive.
Mulesing is the practise of removing part of the folds around the sheep's
behind to discourage flies from laying eggs(remember sheep do have trouble
wiping their bottoms after going potty, this is where the term daggy comes
from).
Also consider that over here some sheep stations are measured in square
kilometres and it is unreal to expect a Farmer to check his sheep every
second day for maggot infestation.
Actually that is all a lie, our Farmers are all a bunch of sadistic brutes
who enjoy spending money on getting their flock mutilated(well, that is what
the animal rights activist say anyway).
Hendrik
with a long gear stick(in the mog of course) and has seen flyblown sheep(not
nice)

What do you do with this ungainly beast? Why is the gearshifter so long?
