I put a request for a resistor assembly for the blower on an '83 300D Turbo on the bottom of someone elses request for parts and that was probably a mistake, so here's the request again:

I need the resistor unit which is inside a cage and sits on the right wheel well under the hood on an '83 300D Turbo. This works with the solid state blower speed control module above the glove box. I initially thought that only the solid state modules; pushbutton, heat control module, and blower speed control module; were all that got fried when everything shorted out on the climate control system; but I'm now thinking I ought to replace the resistor module as well just to be on the safe side. (I've already found the solid state replacement units.)

This is going to be a puckery situation when I fire up the restored system the first time since nothing on the MB electrical repair manual checks out on resistance, ground, or hot versus wire number. I'm still playing with it and trying to make heads or tails of it, but there are something like 30+ wires going to plugs on the four units.
