Chris - good word. The correct spelling is "miscible". Why bacon fat? Because bacon grease has the combined virtues of 1) being a byproduct of one of life's wicked pleasures, 2) a pain in the a** to dispose of, and 3) a burden on the environment whether dumped down the drain or into the trash.
