Diesel engine is more efficient to start with, so the gains are small when playing with electric hybrids.
I'm thinking of marketing an optimal hybrid vehicle (diesel-electric) against a traditional gasser. You know: "It gets 50, not 22, who cares if it uses diesel?"
Marketing DE against D, yes the gains are much smaller. Would be more of a performance thing there. A little sipper of a diesel engine yet accelerates very well due to the electric boost. -- Jim _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com For new and used parts go to www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
