Way to go , Curt. As you now, that alternator belt will need frequent tightening -I think we have discussed the squeal feature before. Dwight

The guy there amazed me when I explained that there were two lengths "You need the longer one." Uhh, yeah. Replacement is easy except I had a helluva time getting the PS pump belt out of the way, I guess I don't really understand how the pump moves. I got 'er though. Then getting the stupid alternator tight enough... And of course just now I realize I haven't tightened the alternator mount bolt... Crap. Oh well, I took it for a ride and that went well enough so a quick tightening and it'll be really done. The engine isn't wet with coolant anymore either. -Curt _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com For new and used parts go to www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com For new and used parts go to www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
